OUR APPROACH
At The Launch Box, we are open about how we work because we believe trust starts with knowing the process. AI is part of how we do what we do, and this policy explains exactly how.
HOW I USE AI?
We use generative AI tools to get our work done. This includes, but is not limited to, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, depending on what the work calls for. Technology moves quickly and our toolkit evolves with it.

THE HUMAN LAYER
AI accelerates the work. It doesn't replace the thinking behind it.
Every AI-assisted output — be it a strategy document, a report, or a piece of content — is reviewed, shaped, and validated by us personally. We bring 25+ years of brand strategy and marketing experience to what stays, what changes, and what gets cut entirely.
Any statistics, studies, or third-party resources we use are personally verified. When we refer to sources in published work, we include direct links to so you can check the information yourself.
PUBLISHED WRITING
AI is part of the writing process and is used across all of our published content: Marketing Jam on Substack, the founders Inc. contributor column, social media posts, the website, and other platforms.
The ideas, observations, and perspective, however, are all ours. They come from doing this work for over two decades, from client experience, and from living inside the topics I write about.
AI helps use draft, refine, and pressure-test the delivery. Everything published is reviewed and edited until it represents our voice and point of view.
DATA & PRIVACY
We do not input client-specific, private, or proprietary information into public AI systems without their advance knowledge and permission (e.g., they knowingly provide me files for use in AI-supported tasks or input information into a GPT or similar tool that I’ve created).
When client meetings are recorded — with the participant's knowledge, as noted at the start of any recorded session — the recordings are transcribed and summarized using AI to support accurate follow-up and note-taking. We handle all transcripts with the same discretion that we apply to client information.
Where platform settings allow, we disable data sharing and training features inside the tools. That said, we also recognize that no platform is entirely without risk, so our default policy is to keep sensitive work out of public systems.

MODIFICATIONS, ENTIRE AGREEMENT, AND SEVERABILITY
This AI Policy, along with the other Policies and operating rules posted on the Site constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and the Company and govern your use of the Site, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and the Company (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Policies). Please read them carefully. Your continued use of the Site will be deemed as acceptance of these Policies as modified. If any of the provisions of these Policies shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition. Further, the failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Policies shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
