My Tech Stack

This is the short list of the main marketing and communications tools I am using right now. This list will never feature a service that I have not personally used AND felt added value by saving me (or my clients) time, money, or both.

For more information about any of these resources plus my inside tips on how to get the most out of them, head over to the #tlb Marketing Jam Community on Substack, register for an account and check out the article titled 'My Tech Stack'.

With tons of easily customizable templates for everything from your social media posts to website designs, you can put a high quality graphic together as fast as you can dream it. Captain is a smart content creation engine that helps define, execute, and optimize the ideal content strategy for your business. It not only captures the essence of your brand, it identifies the most meaningful content for your audience and creates CTA’s and lead magnets to drive engagement and conversion. I am personally using the platform to fuel my content pipeline as I continue to hone my voice and expand my audience. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but I highly recommend this platform to any founder looking to cultivate an expert persona.

Client Onboarding

honeybook

Honeybook is best described as a small business operations hub. The service helps entrepreneurs save time by automating their clientflow and has a lot of bells and whistles. It was honestly a bit of a process to get everything set up, but the time I'm getting back now is well worth the extra effort I had to put in. I am personally using the platform to streamline my client onboarding process from top (sending proposals) to bottom (contract execution). I also like using it for billing because their credit card processing fees are lower than Stripe and PayPal.

You can sign up for a free 7-day trial HERE.

9

Scheduling

Calendly Logo

Calendly is a scheduling management tool that gives busy executives like me the ability to sync their calendars, standardize meeting options and book appointments without all the time consuming back-and-forth via email. I personally use Calendly to ensure a seamless appointment scheduling process for my clients and partners and it is honestly one of my biggest automation time savers.
